Silly me, looking for a new mobile phone, between renoir and omnia and i come across some ebay adverts stating what look like cool phones with loads of features.
touch screen, 5mp camera, onboard TV, wow these sound pretty good! I do some more searching and find a website called GIGXON – http://www.gigxon.com advertising some of these phones.
Ive seen some of the chinese iphone copies and yes they are sh*t but for 80bucks or so they arent bad value.
I spoke to the guys at GIGXON and they assured me that yes the phone was a 5Mega Pixel camera – dubious i thought ah its $100, even if its cap it’ll do as a back up phone.
well after 2 weeks (after paying an extra 40bucks for ‘express delivery’, i thought it would be worth getting a tracking number so i knew theyd actually sent something) it turns up.
well low and behold what a load of crap. camera is 1.3mp, handset is seriously poor quality and the tv tuner? antenna was broken and i doubt it even has a tuner just replays snow over and over.
and then the best of all, 2 days later $4,500 was taken from my credit card in Hong Kong in 3 seperate transactions, whatever they are claiming it falls back to them!
